It’s be a banner month for Voyles group member Chenyu Zhang! Just yesterday, a paper incorporating some of his 4D STEM results on supertwisted spirals of 2D transition metal dichalcogenides was published in Science, along with an accompanying news release from the university. Earlier this month, his paper on tensor singular value decomposition for denoising of 4D STEM appeared in Ultramicroscopy. And on top of all that, he has graduated! His next step will be a post-doc with David Muller’s group at Cornell. We’ll miss him, but I’m sure we’ll see more great results from him in the future. Best of luck, Chenyu!
