Biography
Nicholas grew up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He received his Bachelor of Chemical Engineering and his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Minnesota. He performed research under Dr. Christopher Ellison on the synthesis and characterization of carbon dioxide-selective graphene oxide/PDMS composite membranes and thin film-confined block copolymers during his undergraduate career. As of June 2021, Nick is a graduate student in the Voyles group.
